Tragedy in Unguwar Dallatu Area in Gusau the Zamfara state capital as teenage boy known as Anas stabbed his friend name withheld to death as a result of minor disagreement between them.
Eye witness who gave his name as Shafee’u Gusau told Gamjireporters that, the incident occurred as a result of misunderstanding while playing a whot card game in between them in which Anas cautioned the deceased person to bring out his card or he can be killed.
He said, when his friend insisted that the whot play cards are not with him, the suspect took out his sharp knife and stabbed his friend on his chest and died on the sport.
“Haven realized what had happened, we all gathered and captured Anas and informed Police who later came and apprehended him”.
He then called on parents to always remain vigilante on the movement of their children and prayed that the suspect will be prosecuted based on what he did.
When contacted by our reporter, the state police command public relations officer DSP Muhammad Shehu said, they are waiting signal from Area Command gusau on the matter.
