As part of its effort to ensure GUSAU the capital city of zamfara have access roads network every nooks and crannies, zamfara state government has awarded contract worth over N2.2 billion for the total reconstruction of Gusau Eastern bypass.
This was made known by the state commissioner of information Alh. Umar Jibo while fielding questions from journalists at the end of the state executives council meeting held at government house council chamber today.
According to the commissioner, already the state exercutive councils had reached agreement to release 50% down payment by the state government. The commissioner further stated that, the contract was awarded to TRA-ACTA construction company with six months period to complete the project. He then called on the contractor to ensure the contract is based on contractual agreement and specification, while urging people to cooperate with the company to enable it complete the project as scheduled.
